Project Description
Student Support
Eating like a student
When my health took a nosedive, it was after many years of being malnourished.
Oh I had enough food but how I was living was not nourishing me in anyway.
There were periods of self-inflicted starvation. My priorities were for other activities. There were periods of failure where my ego took a serious battering and I never spoke out to say I was hurting and my body suffered. There were so many great times and there were so clouds.
I was resilient enough to make it through, however what I learned through those times I want to share with you so that your journey isn’t lonely, confusing or scary.
You need to fuel your brain when you are in college to maximise learning. You will want to have fun at the same time, so we need that fuel to be time and cost efficient. You may not have had to cook before you moved out of home and this might be daunting. Don’t worry I have a great workshop for you that will give you some basic cooking tips, practical shopping advice and tasty food options that will see you performing and feeling great while you party…study I mean.
